Background:

Currently we provide education support to about 41 underprivileged children in Nepal with donations collected from benevolent donors of our Society and members of public. Our aim is to grow the numbers of children we provide support to each year and without your help it is impossible.

We provide school stationary, uniform, school bags, clothing, black board for classrooms, IT equipment etc for the children under our care. We do so yearly and is delivered by a representative of our Society from Nepal or UK. We have undertaken this endeavour since the last three years and hope to carry on further.

Message from Mrs. Anju Yonzon:

Dear all, Lasso, Phyaphulla;

We are delighted to share that as a charity we now successfully grant educational scholarships for 51 underprivileged children in Nepal. Your generosity and compassion is truly reflected through the impact this has made to each child and the community, which is beyond measure.

Through your kind donations, we have widened access to essentials including school stationary, uniform, school bags, clothing, shoes, blackboards for classrooms, computers, printers, and IT equipment for the children under our care.
Once again, I also managed to visit Shree Samaj Bikash Basic School in Sindhupalchowk this year, together with my son Chhedup Tamang representing the youth committee, his friend, Gangu Tamang Dai, and with Nepal representatives including Subash Moktan, Ashman Lopchan, Prem Lopchan and Sanjeev Waiba.

It is always overwhelming to witness the enthusiasm and joy of all the children as well as their families. The appreciation and warmth they relay is remarkable and humbling.

As we move forward onto our fifth year of our scholarship program, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all our benevolent donors for your unconditional support. We sincerely encourage our members and community to continue to foster this noble cause as we strive towards our aim to guide, support, and encourage many bright children in Nepal to succeed.
