Dear all,
One of the main aims for Tamang Society of UK is to give back to our own country and provide opportunities to those that are less fortunate than us. With the generous support of our members, we are able to initiate our first ever scholarship programme through the charity. The first region we have aimed this project towards is in Batase 9, Khale, Sindhupalchowk which is a small and remote village with underprivileged families. Here, 21 children of Shree Samaj Bikash Basic School have been awarded with a scholarship provided by individual members. The sponsorships these children have received will not only be for this year but, will continue to until the completion of class 12. These scholarships are mainly targeted towards children with disabilities and those that are highly underprivileged.
The joy of the children when receiving even basic necessities including shirts, shoes and stationary is overwhelming. Further items including jackets, blouses, trousers, skirts, socks and umbrellas were provided to the children. The children as well as the whole village were so happy to try new foods including donuts, cakes and buns. Providing one child with the opportunity and encouragement to learn and have a bright future is a meritorious deed one can ever give. Education allows the children to have a platform, a path to follow and strive to show their true abilities. Educating one child, not only provides them with knowledge but it means educating the family. The continuous support of our members cannot be expressed enough. The gratitude you have all shown and the unconditional love and support you give to the children is incredible.

यसरी नै आगामी दिनहरुमा पनि सोसाइटीले सहयोगी मन हुनेहरुलाई दिर्गकालिन आर्थिक सहयोकको लागि योजना तयार पारिएको जानकारी गराउन चाहन्छु। Underprivileged अर्थात् अति विपन्न, सामान्य जीबनयापन को सुबिधा भोग्न नपाएका बालबालिका हरुलाई सैशिक क्षेत्रमा आर्थिक सहयोग गर्न इच्छुक सदस्य ज्यु हरुले तामांग सोसाइटी ओफ युकेका General सेक्रेटरी ज्ञान तामांग लाइ सम्पर्क गर्नु सक्नु हुने छ।
अन्त्यमा यहाहरुको सहकार्य, हौसला, साथ् , सहयोक र सहभागिताबाट मात्र यो शुभ कार्यले दिर्कालिन सम्म निरन्तरता पाउन सक्छ भन्दै सोसाइटी ले यहाँ हरुसबै को टूलो सहयोग को पूर्ण अपेक्क्षा राक्दछा।
